In a spectacular showdown of talent, St Marys RC Primary School's P.E teacher, took the crown in the thrilling "Gone in 60 Seconds" charity basketball competition. Their jaw-dropping achievement of scoring 8 baskets in a mere minute not only secured their victory but set a new benchmark for future primary schools. Competing against strong contenders like Stifford Clays Primary, Purfleet Primary, and Abbots Hall Primary, St Marys emerged as the school to beat.
This event was more than just a competition; it served as a platform for raising funds for a local charity. The atmosphere was charged with excitement, as students filled the sidelines, screaming support and showcasing their school spirit.

Throughout the event, St Marys RC Primary's P.E teacher exhibited outstanding skill and determination. As soon as the competition started, Mr Capper displayed both focus and excitement, ready to battle for victor. Students roared with enthusiasm at each successful basket. The noise reached an all time high once Mr Capper hit his final basket before the whistle as the cheers echoed through the school halls.

Having successful won the competition, Coach James visited the school to meet up with the head teacher and PE lead to present them with their competition prizes.
