Essex Police Team Up With BBALL FUNDAMENTALZ To Make Basketball More Accessible in Thurrock Primary Schools

On Wednesday 4 December, your #Thurrock Children and Young Persons officers (CYPs) were in #Purfleet.

Your Children and Young Person officers dedicate their time to engaging with children, helping to safeguard them and steer them away from criminal activity and exploitation.

The officers attended Purfleet primary school together with a local coach (Coach James) and Founder of 'BBall Fundamentalz'.

BBall Fundamentalz have created a Thurrock initiative called 'Hoop it up'. Created to help make basketball more accessible in Primary schools across the district.

The officers engaged with the children at the school and assisted Coach James with running the basketball session.
